At the new office location in Berlin-Friedrichshain, around 8,200 m² of floor space is being created, distributed over two timber-hybrid buildings. On five floors each plus a roof terrace and a two-story foyer, a variety of workplaces can be set up to meet different needs.

Highlights

THE CAFÉ AND RETAIL SPACES
On the ground floor at Markgrafendamm, a café is planned with around 180 m² and seating for fifty people. This will ensure direct food service for the tenants but will also form a new neighborhood hangout. The café can be operated by an A LASKA tenant or else it can be managed by an outside enterprise.

Depending upon the needs of the tenants, retail spaces of 40–150 m² can also be set up on the ground floor for a variety of shops or services.
THE BOXES

Bay windows can be used for different needs: as a retreat area, a lookout point, or a meeting place for talks, video conferences, and think tanks. The design of all spaces reflects a clearly intended integration with nature, characterized by lots of wood and panoramic views.

THE ROOF GARDEN
Both office buildings have a roof terrace designed for flexible working and relaxation. The landscape design focuses on the vision of creating a piece of nature in the middle of the city and developing a place where the time spent takes on an attractive quality.
